Can I Tell You…about my Spring / Summer 2025 collection.
Alessandra clutch in natural raffia with rattan ‘solihiya’ woven panels.
South Beach, Miami, a tropical paradise that elicits visions of sultry days on the beach and hedonistic nights, has always been one of my favorite winter escapes. It’s as close as I can get to the tropics within a few hours flight from New York. And every chance I get, I take it.
Walking along Ocean Drive with its rows of pastel colored Art Deco buildings and a few vintage cars parked in front, you’re transported to an idyllic scene from the past.
Jamie handwoven leather clutch in barley.
This sense of escapism and wanderlust are themes I try to evoke when designing my collections. A Rafe bag should inspire you to dream of a trip you have yet to take or remind you of sun-kissed happy memories.
My moodboard for Spring and Summer 2025 was filled with images of Tropical Modernism; lush tropical plants, Art Deco architecture in Miami, Solihiya rattan weaves on mid century modern furniture, and vintage fashion shoots from the 1950s and the 1960s shot on at sunny destinations.
Tamu clutch in natural raffia with white floral embroidery.
The Tamu clutch features hand-embroidered flowers on raffia as well as ombre-dyed buntal straw with semi-precious stones.
Lauren wicker tote with white leather handles.
The Alessandra clutch and the Lauren basket tote incorporate details of rattan Solihiya and wicker weaving. These materials are elements that have remained tried and true for my brand.
Alva handwoven leather hobo in cognac.
Handwoven leather is applied in new shapes like the Jamie envelope clutch, the Alva hobo and the Megan tote rendered in neutral and timeless colors.

With every bag I design, I hope to fill a void in a someone’s wardrobe, create an object of desire that elicits joy and a treasure to keep for years to come.
If I can make a someone smile because of something I designed, I’m good with that.
