Can I tell you about…Jamie Henderson. She’s my second cousin but we only met a couple of years ago while I was in Los Angeles for an event. A few months later she came to New York for a girls weekend and we got to know each other more. She is a Senior Analytics Manager at Zynga, based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Bacolod City, Philippines, Jamie moved to the USA in 2000 and earned a degree in International Studies from UCLA. A lover of all things adventurous, Jamie enjoys exploring LA's diverse workout studios, discovering new restaurants, and traveling to experience different cultures.
At home, Jamie spends time cuddling with their adorable senior pug, Minion and trying new recipes with her husband Oliver. Passionate about skincare regimens and health and wellness podcasts, Jamie dreams of one day owning a thriving e-commerce business, a health and wellness studio—or both!
I designed the handwoven leather #JamieEnvelopeClutch with her in mind; always on the go and always needing the option to go from day to night. The clutch has a double compartment interior and zipper pocket to keep her belongings organized and comes with a removable shoulder strap giving her the option to wear it as a crossbody.

1. What is your idea of happiness?
My idea of happiness is exploring new destinations, discovering different cuisines, and immersing myself in the unique experiences of each city I visit
2. What is your greatest extravagance?
My greatest extravagance is traveling—whether it’s relaxing on a beach in Italy, exploring a winery in Napa Valley, or navigating the streets of a new city. I value the chance to experience different cultures, try local cuisines, and see the world from new perspectives. Travel feels like an investment in memories and experiences that stay with me long after the trip ends.
3. What is your current state of mind?
My current state of mind is a blend of gratitude and optimism. I feel grounded and content with where I am in life, yet energized and excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. It’s a fulfilling balance of appreciating the present while staying curious and motivated for what the future might bring.
4. Whose style do you most admire? My late grandmother Manuela Magalona. She was effortlessly eclectic. She had a knack for mixing high-end pieces with everyday fashion, pairing a Gucci purse with a locally tailored ‘Terno’ from her favorite seamstress. Her confidence and creativity made every outfit uniquely her.
5. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is successfully migrating from the Philippines and earning my degree from UCLA. It’s a testament to my belief in balancing hard work while enjoying life to the fullest—work hard, play hard!
6. What is your most treasured possession?
Materially, my most treasured possession is our wedding album—it holds so many cherished memories. But above all, my family’s health is what I value most. As cliché as it may sound, health truly is wealth.

7. Who is your favorite writer? Taylor Jenkins Reid is my favorite author because she has a way of crafting characters that feel incredibly real—flawed, complex, and deeply human. I especially loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo because it wasn’t just a story about fame and old Hollywood glamour; it was about identity, love, sacrifice, and the price of ambition. Her storytelling is immersive, and she writes with an emotional depth that lingers long after you’ve turned the last page.
8. Which living person do you most admire?
I recently watched the Martha Stewart documentary, and I have to say, she’s an absolute force of nature. I deeply admire her grit, resilience, and unwavering perseverance through all the challenges she’s faced. Her ability to reinvent herself, build an empire, and stay relevant in an ever-changing world is nothing short of inspiring. Martha’s dedication to her craft, her relentless work ethic, and her knack for turning her passions into a global brand showcase a level of determination and vision I truly aspire to emulate. She’s proof that hard work, resilience, and creativity can lead to extraordinary success.
9. Where is your dream destination? The South of France. I’ve traveled all over the world, but the South of France is still high on my bucket list. I love Paris—the energy, the history, the style—but there’s something about the Côte d’Azur and Provence that just seems magical. The idea of wandering through lavender fields, sipping wine at a vineyard, or relaxing in a little coastal town sounds like a dream. It’s that perfect mix of laid-back and luxurious, and I can’t wait to experience it with my husand one day.
10. What is your motto? Turn challenges into fuel, and keep climbing.
